Building with Nature Indonesia Showcased on the FAO and UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration FERM Platform
EcoShape is proud to share that our flagship program, Building with Nature Indonesia, is now featured on the FERM platform — the Common Search Engine for Good Practices on Ecosystem Restoration.
Developed by the FAO Best Practice and Monitoring Task Forces under the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the FERM platform highlights and disseminates effective restoration approaches from across the globe. It’s goal is to foster knowledge exchange and mutual learning among practitioners, helping to scale up successful restoration initiatives worldwide.
The Building with Nature Indonesia flagship showcases how restoring mangrove ecosystems can both protect vulnerable coastlines and create sustainable livelihoods for local communities. This recognition on the FERM platform helps amplify these lessons for practitioners around the world and reinforces our commitment to advancing scalable Nature-Based Solutions for a more resilient future.
